THE JUMBLIES

SHERIFF HUTTON JUMBLIES

The Jumblies are a very successful group who put the “fun” into Fundraising.  They hold nine jumble sales, working alongside many support groups each year to raise money for village organisations and local and national charities. Many of the jumble sales have made over £2,000.

The Jumblies also hold a summer coffee morning and have taken part in the Septembers Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning since 2000

In 2017 The Jumblies were shortlisted for the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. They also recieved a grant from the High Sheriff of North Yorkshire which paid for the new polo shirts and they were High Commended in the Yorkshire Post Rural Awards Community Group section.

In 2007 The Jumblies were proud winners of the Duke of York's Community Initiative Award and the plaque is displayed in the Village Hall.

Many regular buyers attend the Jumble Sales and some have supported the Jumblies
since they started.  Many good relationships have been built up over the years.

Since they started in 1986 the Jumblies have raised over £325,000.

Between 2pm and 4pm.
