SHERIFF HUTTON PARISH COUNCIL

The Parish Council is very active and has to deal with a variety of issues. It is responsible for street lighting, maintenance of the Village Greens and grass verges and other matters relating to the care of the village.   It is consulted on planning applications by North Yorkshire Council which is the planning authority. Meetings are held every second Thursday in the month in the Miss Ward Room at the Methodist Church, starting at 7.30pm, apart from the May meeting that starts at 7.00pm. Meeting dates subject to change - please check the meeting dates tab for a list of all dates for the year. Members of the public are welcome to attend these meetings where they are able to raise issues for discussion.
