PARISH COUNCIL
SHERIFF HUTTON PARISH COUNCIL
The Parish Council is very active and has to deal with a variety of issues. It is responsible for street lighting, maintenance of the Village Greens and grass verges and other matters relating to the care of the village. It is consulted on Planning Applications by Ryedale District Council which is the planning authority. Meetings are held every second Friday in the month in the Village Hall, starting at 7.30pm. Members of the public are welcome to attend these meetings where they are able to raise issues for discussion.
