2008 Village of the Year Competition, sponsored by Calor Gas
The Parish Council is proud to announce that Sheriff Hutton won two of the specific categories. The Communications Category for the Village News and Website, and the commitment of the volunteers involved in these projects and The Business Category for the two way support between local businesses and the community.
The Parish Council meets every second Friday in the month in the Village Hall. All members of the public are welcome to attend these meetings.

Parish Councillors serve for four years and are responsible for a number of activities in the village including the street lighting, the maintenance of the Village Green and the grass verges and other matters relating to the care of the Village.
